OK. So the large foam blaster, like the one pictured above, which one would have thought would be particularly useful in this fire in the open sided airport car park if deployed instantly, is not to be used unless two bureaucratic reviews are made. In which case, of course, the easiest thing to do is leave it to the town fire brigade to make it up the hill.
It will be interesting to see the airport's own Risk Assessment, seeing as we are mentioning these, of the implications of a fire in the car park, and procedures for dealing with it.
