I remember, it comes in handy for getting back to where I parked.
A motor glider turns very slowly and the pilot would first need to hear you over the racket of the engine. The manoeuvre requires one hand to enter the turn and the opposite hand to exit. Using a two handed weapon would be a bit of a challenge.
