Agree, Scotland is brilliant. Loch Lomond is stunning and Oban is a popular destination to fly to. Check out Campbeltown as well, although I believe they don't have avgas, so plan accordingly. Also check out Hawarden in north Wales. If you go on a weekday, you might spot the Beluga.
Also bear in mind some of the more isolated spots in Scotland do not have cafes on site, so bring your own lunch!
