Now you have piqued my interest! What is a civilian FW instructor at Valley getting paid by Ascent?

I ask because Maritime instructors, both front and rearcrew, are not only essential for UK helicopter training, but since the demise of the Military SAR Force, they are as rare as hens teeth. I simply cannot believe that any other Ascent instructor would deserve more than the guys on 202. The RAF is building SH instructors, it is building fast jet instructors , but where are the SAR, and Maritime instructors coming from?
Canada will be paying these guys $200k plus I a year from now.
It is only what they deserve.
The Maritime instructors at Valley should be on £120k minimum. If they down tools tomorrow , the training stops and there is nobody qualified to replace them. 65k a year is literally slave labour.
