Distance, speed & time leading into fuel calculations. Being able to re-arrange basic formula including cross multiply. Trigs - SOHCAHTOA, Pythagoras. Though usually you might use a particular trig function in a given ATPL syllabus formula. Make sure you master your calculator, the Degrees/Minutes/Seconds key is really useful in GNav for Time, Latitude & Longitude problems. Linear interpolation of table data & working out what scale a graph might be does seem to cause some problems. The gas laws in physics are worth knowing.
