Thread drift.
Something hard to imagine in Lossie now is a double header steam train pulling into Lossie station with 11 or 12 carriages disgorging about 1000 (so I was told) sailors in the early 60’s. The last carriage was almost at the level crossing where Seatown road meets Clifton road.
Not all low level flying was done over the sea – copy of a picture I bought from one of the drinking establishments in Lossie.
