Yup, as others have said: night-time or dodgy wx, I ask for the ILS, thanks. That's it. Day-time+good wx, I'm happy to track straight for a 5nm final.
My solution to the Breakdown of Separation review: just make all of PER airspace Class E. I'm told by experts that you cannot have breaches of separation in airspace where there is no prescribed separation standard............
