Anyone have any idea why a 2-ship Spitfire visit to Central London took place today just after 12 ? I was busy involved with something when the sublime sound of two Merlin engines got louder and louder and got my full attention. They originated in the Lincs area (BBMF?) and they did a couple of tight circuits and headed home again.
Was it definitely '2 Spitfires'?, as I thought that I read elsewhere that it was single Spitfire and a single Hurricane.
