A Belgian Air Force A400, at altitude over London, returning home south-eastwards from somewhere. I really do wonder when the military last had such a noisy aircraft you can hear coming from goodness knows how many miles away, and get ready for. Can it have been in the original spec - 'enemy must be able to hear you coming at cruising height, from inside their accommodation, when you are still 10 miles away' ?
That was a Cavok An12 doing a sudden ship out from Birmingham of the replacement engine for a BRAND NEW Jet2 A321 stuck with a completely failed engine in Turkey. Notable how the Old Girls (50 years old ?) are still needed to support the brand new ones
Re Belgian A400……It routed Brussels-Casement-Brussels. Routed over London, westbound towards Strumble, then onward…..returned south over Liverpool/Birmingham before turning over south of London for home….
