For a brief while a decade or two back there was a leased AN-28 at WOTG to be used for meat bombing there - it crashed on take off almost as soon as it arrived due to some tech problem, dunno if there was a like for like replacement or if they opted for a different type!
Re the Buffs, didn't see 'em on ADSB but did note a KC-10 sneaking in to Fairford, working with them? French ATC, eh?
