Hi everyone,
I have a few queries, and am looking for someone to give their opinons on things for me.
I'm currently studying Computer Engineering at the Uni of Manchester. I am in my second year, and have an option to work in the IT industry in my third year and finish the degree in my fourth year or I can finish my degree next year without the year in industry.
From the selection point of view would it be better for me to finish my degree earlier or later, and if I did the year in industry would the selectors question my loyalty etc to wanting to become a pilot?
Also I've seen posts by other people saying they would leave uni (or equivelent) if they were selected, does that not show you lack commitment issues, and may flee from a pilots position for the airline you end up with as soon as you can?
