TUI used to do very well from Luton to SSH & HRG. No reason why both airlines can't exist from Luton. If Luton had available slots then Egyptair / Air Cairo could even join the party. They have used Luton for Cargo before.
There are a few more Egyptian airports which could take a 2-3 week service as well. ALY, ASW, LXR & RMF.
