Maybe passengers should pay enough in fares to support a decent wage for airport workers who work 24/7 shift patterns.
This is just another example of the business model that requires staff to be on low pay.
Perhaps the public should stop shopping at Poundland and ordering anything which comes from China to keep wages higher?
You tell me someone who will buy a Ticket from an airline which pays higher wages...........
Aka Ryanair & Wizzair thrive and the old style airlines die, Sebena, Alitalia etc or club together and move to low cost models ie Oneworld, Star & Skyteam.
Middle Eastern carriers pay well but are bank rolled and cut jobs at a moments notice as alot of Emirates employees found out during covid.
My point was about the Union who are creative on their press releases and always seem to put out a 1970s image, Ok lads, all out!
They are doing the same with Red Handling & Wilson James over at Gatwick.
Makes me wonder if this is an effort by Union to grab as much as it can before forecast inflation drops so their biggest yardstick disappears.....
