Their package is below international standards and cost of living is very high. A FO earning tax free money in EK or QR isn’t too far away from a local SQ Capt salary. The reason why the SQ mgt can get away with it is simply because the locals do not dare to venture out and hence it’s assuming everyone is happy to live with the low package. Not forgetting the ALPA-S is pretty much useless as industrial action is deemed illegal and the authorities can throw u in jail like in any communist country.
