From your comments you quote that the A321 NEO aircraft is not quieter than a standard A321 but as some who lives with aircraft taking off here in South Luton they most certainly are quieter

A321Neo is a noisy aircraft and doesn’t live up to the manufacturers claims.
Luton official stats paint a different picture that a A321Neo is noisier than a standard A320
If people are selfish to deny employment opportunities for others I say they are definitely selfish. London Luton Airport is all we have in our region that can increase opportunities for all.
There are plenty of vacancies without expansion that they are finding hard to fill. Maybe forcing the unemployed to work 24/7 shift patterns so people can have cheap holidays is selfish?
