Easy money and heavy lobbying is on the latter, but like the H-60, you can only push a 50 year old design so far... unless we're talking the B-52, evidently.
I am sure you are right, but if the Army did want an upgraded Apache, they could use the V-280. Then they wouldn't even need the GE engine.
