chevvron....The progress of 'Over-runners' was often arrested by the slight ditch and hedge to the right of the gate. I did once see one foggy morning the splendid sight of a Shackleton landing short in this field - Crikey it must have been well over sixty years ago !
This was one of the more spectacular 'Bolters' 26th October 1951.
