You have to decide what you REALLY want to do as regards a flying career, visualise it then take steps to try and realise thar dream. You have to be single-minded but realistic retaining a large degree of humility along the way.
The RAF obviously requires candidates with a certain skills-set, and attitude is as important as aptitude. Always have a back-up plan in case it doesn’t work out and know that even if you’re unsuccessful with a military flying career you can perhaps pursue the commercial path at your own pace (albeit a potentially expensive path).
What is a ‘cert’ that if flying is your ambition (and in your blood) you WILL achieve it with hard-work and determination. If it was easy, everyone would be a pilot!
