Eventually, but not in the short term, looking at 2030's before the amount of New -J's are enough to replace existing upgraded ones. More likely from most people I know with innate knowledge of RAAF airlift. Wont be until around the 12th new J is delivered untill they start to retire old J's. They believe another squadron of 12 will be stood up and another 4 will be purchased. This could all change of course with a new government

They aren't they being reallocated to non military taskings. The basics is that they a self defence and awareness systems have failed multiple benchmarks. Main offender is the missile approach and warning system
