I just read about Canada airline charging $10-100 more to be seated next to family.
Except the law in Canada says they can't, depending on the age of the kids.
Is that phantom Canadian airline any worse than this:
- We do our best to seat families together when we allocate seating and we’ll make sure that young children are seated with a parent or guardian, but we can’t guarantee you’ll be all together. That’s why it’s best to select your seats when you book your flights.
- You can select and purchase seats for your family when you book.
Note the word "Purchase"
(The above is from JQ by the way)
