In most countries the initial Class 1 medical is much stricter than the yearly renewals, I thought the BMI under 30 limit would be something similar, especially considering it is a nonsense measurement for anyone fit and healthy who has a stockier build... but I get it, they take it seriously... sheesh...
Under 40 in the UK the doctors couldnt care less if I walked in smoking!
On the live out allowance question, i gather 20% deposit seems to be the minimum requirement in Dubai, if i could ask what would be a reasonable amount to expect to pay for a 4 bed property within a bus ride to Kent College or one of the other schools? I've had a look online and it seems you can pick up a place from £300k to £400k but I have no idea what kind of areas they are in yet. Is there any risk you arrange to buy somewhere and then the company refuse you to leave their accommodation and you are stuck paying for a property you dont live in? Cheers for the advice.
