Littoral Strike Ship is in essence a capability embodied in a ship. RFA Argus will be the demonstration ship for that. In due course the MRSS programme is intended to provide ships to meet that capability (as well as others). That of course means the RN have to figure out exactly what they want the LSS - and more importantly the Future Commando Force - to look like in capability terms.
