Hope to be proven wrong, but apart from the curfew, Mascot as a location is better for just about everything else: distance to city and Sydney tourist hotspots, onwards air connections, public transport, and home to a fairly significant number of Sydney siders.
The Customer and Staff experience at WSI will leave Mascot for dead. Let's not beat around the bush here, Mascot is global poor standard be it airside, carpark or transport.

They are forecasting by 2050 it will overtake Mascot, 2060 second runway operational.
