Not quite the same thing, as I also pointed out that an expanded Luton would substantially require more slots when there are not enough now according to Pabely.
As for easyJet blaming Luton weather, how many diversion were there due to light rain? Answer none. The real issue is more likely to be a lack of staff, as people don’t like the shift pattens when there is an abundance of jobs away from the airport.
There are plenty of slots during the day, are you getting confused about night & day? How come the constant stream of BizJets arrive? Once Luton gets fast exit / entry taxiways then capacity can be raised again.
Shift patterns are the Industry now, if you don't like it don't enter the profession. Lack of Staff at Gatwick & Manchester as well?
