True enough - but there will now be fewer transport aircraft in the fleet so there may not be slots for everyone in the near term. (Has the Atlas fleet reached its planned establishment? And is its aircraft/crew ratio the same as on the C-130? All the boring backstage detail that will affect such transfers.)
You are ignoring the current RAF aircrew shortage caused by a disfunctional training and selection system. The 47 Sqn crews will be very welcome gap fillers.
