It is what it is. The A321 Neo’s are reported to be as loud as the A320 non Neo’s despite the claims from Airbus. Maybe the extra weight is the issue but some of that noise isn’t coming from the engines but the speed brakes, strange as it seems when on approach. There is also the barking dog noise some passengers are subjected to but can’t be heard from the ground.
