The airfield is actually called Hofkirchen and as you rightly say
Asturias it's south of Linz in Austria. I worked nearby in Steyr and we occasionally had flypasts of our balloons from Hofkirchen by the based HB-23s.
Interestingly, the first electrically powered aircraft was a development of the HB-3 called the Militky MB-E1 (
