Apparently so, judging by the responses in this thread. Why bother? For some, it's their first shiny jet job and let's be real, which pilot doesn't aspire to fly a jet at some point in their career? Short term pain, for long term gain.
And an attitude like that is the reason WHY they don’t frigging pay you during your type rating!
