I just received the mail to do the online assessment (after 6 months waiting, don't despair!). I would like to know how the payment is made. Because I know that during the week ends, the payment transfers are blocked and delayed with my bank, until a working day. I planned to pay on Friday in order to have some time to prepare the assessment, so do you think I will be able to do the online assessments from this day, there won't be any delay for the payment?

You can pay with credit cards, so the transaction is instant.
EDIT: But from experience, you won't get access the same day as you pay, so if you want to take it on Friday you should pay on Thursday
