You’re better off improving the deal you get when your given an economy seat (eg: guaranteed isle or window with spare seat next to you or $200 allowance whenever your seated in economy).
exactly, I am sick of being presented with 29B when I check in for a paxing duty and the look of distain when I ask if an emergency exit is available. Business on Qantas doesn’t worry me, a guaranteed extra legroom seat with the ability to checkin online when travelling in my own carrier would be nice, Yet when raised with the Company they tell us it is a ‘cost’ issue, well with the advent of longer flights and trips I for one expect to be taken care of on those 5 hour paxing sectors.
