In the past Ministers and Admirals have resigned and it's had zero impact - and that was when the public thought about the Navy a lot. These days it would make the bottom of page 5 in the Times if they were lucky.
Examples please? And was it/ were they in an election year?
I think the tabloids, the red tops and the Mail could easily do a bit of stirring on a quiet day.
Anyway, it will not happen, the last leadership we saw was the Falklands, PM and RN.
