Looking at the second of mickjoebill's links (which I couldn't click on, for some reason, so will repost below) I'm going with G-LOC resulting from the sharp pull-up, with the pilot regaining awareness just in time to eject. Possible the aircraft might have departed after the zoom climb, can't quite tell; the fact it's a Hornet means it could have been a high-alpha spiral dive rather than a spin, not that either would be recoverable that close to the ground.
