Yes the Sair Inn is still plying its rather unique trade. However like you its been a while since I last called in, and I always went in Winter as with the fires it just seemed better. The Old Bridge at Ripponden is another I would recommend if you are ever up this way, and the Riverhead Brewery in Marsden.
The RAF dont appear to be playing out today up here, as nothing heard or seen yet, apart from the normal commercial stuff into Manchester and Leeds, but its clouded up now, though warm.
