Seatpan firing handle (SFH) check
I'm sure someone will correct me but I recall that one of the "gotchas" set up by the instructor prior to a sim detail was to move the SFH to unsafe and reinsert the pin. I seem to recall it was the Hawk sim but it could've been any one of many other types. Having read Mr Hill's book and the SI, I could see no mention of this simple check still being regularly taught or encouraged.
