What to do in the mean time?
All of your responses have been very helpful and I thank you for that. Changing the subject slightly.........I am going to reapply in the summer for a Dec OASC date at earliest.
I am currently enrolled on a boring graduate scheme and looking for a more interesting job before I am selected. I was thinking about joining the Police and have spoken to a few people who have said if I do get in the RAF I can easily leave and if I don't get in this year I can obviously carry on in the police and I will try again next year.
I have always wanted to join the RAF but want to do something of interest in the mean time. I am just concerned as to how this would be viewed by an RAF selection board. Would they see it as lack of commitment, or would it be a positive thing? I am just looking to join the police until if/when I can join the RAF.
Any thoughts/comments/suggestions would be helpful,
