I don't know. Some people above have stated some companies that pay for your Type Rating (I mean bond), and offer a decent pay for a new First Officer. That's much better than what it was 2-3 years ago, with all those pay cuts and down payments (although the latter is still the norm). We all know that this is not the 70s and 80s anymore, when the paychecks were astronomical and you didn't have to pay for your Type Rating, but this gives some hope to those, like me, who are 7-8 months away from finishing everything.
I think that I've
never seen a field, apart from aviation, where there are so many different opinions about the same topic. Almost nobody seems to agree in Terms and Conditions, Payments, etc.
