Unless it was like a wrap they put on the vehicle - but how long would that last and how could they do it to an aircraft?
Also, given that not much in the real world is made up of straight lines, is pixel camo really better that what came before it?
it's not that hard, take a gridded piece of paper, cut off the squares you like and use it as a template. Apply paint. There you go, digital camo.
The main idea is that it works fairly well in both long and short distances. Even better when combining some curvature in it as well making it more difficult for eye to catch than traditional camo.
