609 is a totally different story and if the regulations for it were already sorted out by FAA, it would be certified. Can't certify an aircraft that doesn't have regulations written for it yet!
09 seems to be getting there. People don't like them leaving the HTS900 for the Arriel but the 900 is having many problems. Partiuclarly with spares and support.
SW04 was different again. Mods to FAA certify it were all done on STC, an STC not owned by Leonardo. It all got out of control so Leo pulled the plug on the whole project. It really was butt ugly. I'm glad it never made it through.
