My questions are always (in no particular order):
- Are they safe?
- Good reputation in both the travel and airline worlds?
- Timeliness and reputation for cancellations?
- Customer service when something goes wrong
As Consumers Association have listed them as terrible and the only time I used them LTN-VNO-LTN, we had very poor customer service and cabin attitude - I do not expect to use them again. Being Eastern European does not, of itself, come into it. I use the Spanish BA because they (usually) do OK and have a good safety record. The same for some other carriers on my list.
