Not quite as simple as that. WizzAir Holdings is Jersey registered with it shares traded on the London stock exchange but is Swiss based while Wizz Air U.K. is Luton registered. During lockdown Wizz qualified for money from the U.K. government so how Hungarian is it?
None of this makes a difference to the simple English public. British Airways are British despite actually being Spanish, easyJet are British despite arguably now being Austrian and founded by a Greek, Wizz Air are "from some poor east European country" and Ryanair are Irish, which many English unbelievably still think is British.
