Not quite as simple as that. WizzAir Holdings is Jersey registered with it shares traded on the London stock exchange but is Swiss based while Wizz Air U.K. is Luton registered. During lockdown Wizz qualified for money from the U.K. government so how Hungarian is it?
Didn't Ryanair get a much bigger loans, Gatwick Airport & Stagecoach did also, all have parent companies abroad. BA is owned by IAG which is registered in Madrid. Ownership was not the criteria of Covid loans.
