Vladimir Putin 'signs deal to move tactical nuclear weapons to Belarus
'Vladimir Putin has signed a deal to station tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus, according to Russian news agency Tass.
Ten aircraft capable of carrying the armaments have reportedly already been moved there. A storage facility for the weapons themselves will be built by 1 July.
"We agreed with [Belarusian President Alexander] Lukashenko that we would place tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus without violating the non-proliferation regime," Mr Putin said.
Mr Putin claimed it would not violate nuclear non-proliferation agreements, as the US already has such weapons stationed in Europe, reports Tass.
The US has an estimated 100 nuclear warheads at air bases on the continent, including in Germany, the Netherlands, and Turkey, according to the Centre for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation…
Lukashenko can always sell those later to Ukraine, in part for the reparations of the attacks that they permitted from their sovereign soil by their mates. There doesn't seem to be a discussion yet on that, but a bill for damages for everything in the west of Ukraine, which includes an aviation content item, the airport at Kiev, and the AN224 etc, and being an accomplice through their enablement of the crimes at Bucha, aiding and abetting a felony, etc... Yeah, someday Lukashenko will have his opportunity to see a court for what happened in February 2022, and for all of the events since then when he has permitted a sovereign country to be attacked, and innocent people to be murdered through his being an accomplice to those attacks. That seems a simple set of dots to join, as simple as the pizza shaped chalk outline on a dirty pavement that would be a high probability of being a meme when Lord Vlad gets booted out of Ukraine.
