Again, counting the population total, less than 25 million and between them fielding an air force, potentially for now, of 143 F-35s and the proper version, 60 Gripen E and 60 upgraded Gripen C/D. I'm sure a British government official when confronted with such a comparison with the RAF would reach for the old we are the fourth largest spender on...etc, etc, etc.
