I didn't know BAE owned Bofors: I thoughts Hägglund was their sole Swedish company. A quick search now shows me that Alvis bought Bofors quite a while back.

I wonder which criteria swung the decision in favour of Archer rather than the other SPG on offer ? Speed seems the most obvious factor, although Caesar is faster.
