Heathrow don't do initial C1 EASA medicals, only CAA. Gatwick/Birmingham see to offer joint appointments but you can only apply for one via email, and they don't seem to respond! lol
hey, I’m having a look at class 1 bookings at the moment.
I’m a UK citizen but would ideally like to open my horizons to the likes of having both CAA and EASA class 1s (especially at the extortionate price of the initial medicals now! They used to be £100-200.. what happened!?)
was just wondering if there is additional costs having the dual medical at an approved facility? Seeing as you had a dual done, was it more expensive than getting just the CAA? If they are the same price it seems a no brainer to get both for me and keep options open! But it’s probably not that simple…
