Why dont you convert to EASA straight ? To pay type rating i'd rather not recommend,what if you don't get a job within a year? Buy buy money... You will have to pass 13 exams in EASA country and do check for each remark in license. But there is one good thing ,start the ATPL Theory online that will speed up the process . You can start ATPL Theory right now ,company is flexible and approved by EASA, prices are more than afordable 👍🏻 CFI i'd say rather to be 2nd option in case ..
