Thanks! I'm a land and construction surveyor so I have a diploma in Spatial Science haha. Although a bit different to ATC I work with bearings and distances every day and have to do quick calculations with numbers and it saves a lot of time if you can do more mentally than having to whip out a calculator every time. I didn't necessarily study for the tests but I just looked up what style and format they would be in.
Also, because I'm such a nerd I play a couple different ATC simulator games. Mainly Tower 3D Pro which is tower and ground and another called Endless ATC which is an Approach radar Sim. In general I play a lot of video games so staring at a screen having to react quickly to something is not new to me 😂
