Re the Kittiwake, seem to recall seeing the first one at Lasham in 1978 where it was probably assisting the resident tugs launching competitors in the UK Nationals. Never seen it anywhere else though it appears to have been quite active and now lives not all that far from me albeit without a current permit. Also recall the Nash Petrel development at Farnborough.
