In the video of the daily mail it appears to change instantly from not seeing it at all to seeing it very clearly. So it clearly appears that it flew in rather dense clouds and thus IMC when LoC occured. If that was
IIMC and if this happened due to spacial disorientation or if the cause for the LoC was a mechanical malfunction obviously only the detailed investigation will be able to tell.
