EASA & UK CAA Orthokeratology lenses

Hi there.

I’ve been a pilot for a few years. I normally fly wearing daily contact lenses with glasses as a backup, as per my class 1.

I recently learned about orthokeratology lenses, the lenses you wear at night, which then correct your vision for 24-48h.

i have a few questions about them, to anyone who knows:

1) can I switch over to them and just tell my AME during the next visit, or is there more to it?
1b) is it even allowed under EASA and the UK CAA? (I am a dual license holder)
2) My understanding is that it takes a few weeks to start working. Is that because it takes time to correct your lens shape? If so, does that mean that during that period I’m unfit to fly since my prescription won’t be valid?
3) once a regular user, does my vision slowly get worse throughout the day as my lens slowly goes back to its original shape? Say, I have a max duty day of 12h. Start after lunch, will things by a little blurry on that night approach at 2am?
